We all have spirit guides no matter if you know they are there or not. Some may refer to them as "guardian angels". Regardless what you may call them, meeting your spirit guide is very simple and can be a powerful experience.

This means that guides will come through to us in various ways of communication. We may not be mentally prepared for an 6 foot angel  to appear in front of our eyes, to tell us what to do. Everyone is different, therefore methods of communication will differ dependant on the person and what they are likely to pay attention to.

The ways of communication are endless! From the smallest flicker of light or shadow at the corner of our vision, to the thought that seems to pop into our head for no reason, from the fleeting scent of perfume or tobacco to the symbol or colour you see repeated during your day. All of this is guidance, albeit subtle.

How often have you felt absolutely compelled to call someone you haven’t spoken to in ages –for seemingly no reason? Or say something in the middle of a conversation you just know you didn’t think about before it came flying out? Or a song comes on the radio and the words have meaning in the situation you are going through?

Guides are everywhere and can present themselves to you as anything. Open your senses and feel the signs.

"Instead, God chose things the world considers foolish in order to shame those who think they are wise; God chose what is weak in the world to shame the strong. God chose what is low and despised in the world, even things that are not, to bring to nothing things that are, so that no human being might boast in the presence of God"

1 Corinthians 27-28
