Unconditional Love
"For EWE"
Do you understand that if there was a condition to
God’s love, then God would be giving "conditional" love? I have never heard or read anywhere that God gives conditional
love, have you?
Here is where the so called enlightened fall by the
wayside. There are no conditions, no judgements, no punishments!
Where would we be if God did that to us? Love us today,
and judge us tomorrow?
Love is eternal and unconditional, not something
you can turn on and off as you so desire.
Sooooo....Love like you've never been hurt!!!!
And
always remember,
you are special to someone,
someone cares about you
more than you will ever know.
Ties That Bind
I once heard said that Jesus' family did not recognize
who He was, spiritually ~ that they only knew Him as family. So, I imagine He knew that hurt, too.
None-the-less, we may fail to realize that others are
also looking at us to validate who they are. And though we can't be their everything, we can make sure our mouth doesn't call
others things they are not.
When we have checked our heart and motive, and our heart
condemns us not, God is pleased. He doesn't look for perfect people, just perfect hearts ~ as God knows who we are spiritually.
Therein is where we get our confidence, assurance, self esteem, and such.
And even when our behavior is out of line, due to other's
blows, God sees the source. Yet, as we grow in seeking and accepting only God's approval, we have less need to respond to
negative input ~ as their opinion isn't what counts.
When we depend upon people for our self worth,
we
set both them and us up to fail.
People fail us. But, God never will
The Golden Path
Take
my hand this way we'll go,
Said the man above,
I'll take you to a place of joy,
Where you will find true love,
If
you let go, go on your own,
But mistakes you will make,
For many other ways there are,
Which you are sure to take,
When
you feel that you are lost,
All you have to do is pray,
And I'll be there once again,
To help you on your way,
I
did pray and just as said,
He shined his light from above,
That showed me the way down the golden path,
That led
me to your love.
Regret
Up
somewhere in the distance I see a man so old
all his life's' belongings he lost long ago or sold.
As years passed
by, he waited for his future to unfold,
Now bitterness consumes him and his hopes have all grown cold
Family can't
console him in the last years of his life
No children ever born to him before he lost his wife
He watched his friends
die one by one - each caused him so much strife
But it's love he lost that cut his soul much worse than any knife
Each
day he plays the memories - the songs of life he's stored
Still vivid are his thoughts of her - strike a too familiar
cord
On the day he fell in love with her he knelt and thanked the Lord
But the day she left it broke his heart - a
price one can't afford
So many years have passed since then - still he never was the same
Still burdened with
the sadness because he found no one to blame
As for the hope he'd love again - well that day it never came
The future
forever darkened as his tears put out the flame
A key to life he learned too late to some will seem absurd
A lesson
of this life best felt than kept if only heard
Of all the gifts bestowed in life its meaning's often blurred
Love must be shown with actions cause it's more
than just a word
A Place For Me
There is a special place in life,
That needs my humble skill,
A
certain Job I'm meant to do,
Which no one else can fulfill.
The time will be demanding,
And the pay is not too good
And
yet I wouldn't change it
for a moment -- even if I could.
There is a special place in life,
A Goal I must attain,
A
dream that I must follow,
Because I won't be back again.
There is a mark that I must leave,
However small it seems
to be,
A legacy of love for those
Who follow after me.
There is a special place in life,
That only I may share,
A
little path that bears my name,
Awaiting me somewhere.
There is a hand that I must hold,
A word that I must say,
A
smile that I must give,
For there are tears to blow away.
There is a special place in life
That I was meant to fill,
A sunny spot where flowers grow,
Upon a windy hill.
There's always a tomorrow and the best is yet to be,
And
somewhere in this world,
I know there is a place for me!
